Know where every agreement stands, right inside the deal

DocuSign is where deals become agreements: envelopes go out, recipients sign in order, and status moves from sent to delivered to completed. Emerge Digital connects that agreement layer to Salesforce Agentforce so an agent working an opportunity or case can see exactly where a contract stands — who has signed, who is holding it up, what completed and when — and propose the next step. Sending an envelope is a gated action a person approves, and no agent ever signs anything on anyone's behalf.

Illustrative workflow. Licensing, permissions and feasibility are confirmed during discovery. This is not a claim of a native connector or a delivered client result.

What the connection unlocks

  • Envelope status — sent, delivered, completed, declined, voided — is readable in the context of the deal or case it belongs to, so 'where is the contract' has a live answer.
  • Recipient-level visibility shows which signer is still pending in the signing order, so a follow-up goes to the person actually holding things up.
  • Completion is an event agents can act on: when an agreement finishes, the agent can flag the opportunity or case as ready for its next stage instead of waiting for someone to notice.
  • Preparing an envelope is a drafted, human-approved action built on your approved templates — the agent assembles, a person reviews and sends.

Where it can make a difference

These scenarios explain possible workflows. They are not claims of delivered client results; licensing, permissions and feasibility are confirmed during discovery.

'Where's the contract?' answered from the envelope

A rep asks about a stalled deal, and the agent reads the envelope status from DocuSign — delivered, a signature still pending — and names which recipient the agreement is waiting on.

A nudge aimed at the right signer

When an agreement sits unsigned, the agent drafts a follow-up to the pending signer with the deal context attached, and the account owner approves it before anything is sent.

Renewal confirmed before the case closes

A service agent handling a renewal checks that the agreement actually completed in DocuSign before advancing the case, so nothing downstream starts on an unsigned contract.

Connect the workflow to the outcome

DocuSign lives at the sharpest point of Convert — the moment a commercial conversation becomes a binding agreement — and that is where agreement visibility pays for itself, keeping deals from stalling silently at the signature step. It returns in Optimize, where renewals, amendments, and service agreements move through the same envelope lifecycle and agents can watch them just as closely.

Built around your environment

Emerge Digital connects DocuSign to Salesforce Agentforce as a consulting engagement built around the legal weight of what DocuSign carries. We map envelopes to the Salesforce records they belong to — opportunities, cases, accounts — configure what status and recipient data each agent may read, and design the send action as a gated step: drafted by the agent from your approved templates, reviewed and released by a person. Agents track and chase agreements; they do not sign them, and they do not send them unsupervised. For enterprises where a signature is a legal act, that line is the design.

Before we connect

Can an agent sign an agreement or send one on its own?

Neither. Signing is exclusively human — the integration never touches the act of signature. Sending is gated: the agent can prepare an envelope from an approved template, but a person reviews and releases it every time.

DocuSign already offers Salesforce apps — what is different here?

DocuSign's own apps let users send and track from Salesforce records. This engagement is about Agentforce: making envelope and recipient status part of what your agents can read, reason over, and act on under governance, mapped to your objects and approval rules.

How does the agent know which envelope belongs to which deal?

That mapping is part of the engagement. Emerge links envelopes to the opportunities, cases, or accounts they arise from, so an agent reads agreement status in the context of the record it is working — not a loose list of documents.
